Broods

Band? Broods
Where? The Observatory Santa Ana, California
When? March 6th 2015
Genre? Electronic Pop
Overall? 9 out of 10

Last night I went to The Observatory to see Broods, it was more of a last minute decision, and wow am I happy I made the decision to go! This New Zealand duo sounds pretty much the exact same as they do on their recorded tracks. Throughout the show Georgia kept thanking the audience and saying how grateful she and her brother Caleb were to the crowd that showed up. They seemed very genuine and had a fantastic stage presence. I definitely see this duo going quite far in the music industry. If you get the chance to see them I would not turn them down. They are one of the best groups I've seen in quite sometime!

A little bit about Broods:
They're a brother and sister duo, they come from New Zealand. They've grown up playing music but started their current group in October 2013.

Get to know me...

MUSIC... over the past three years that word has grown to mean something a lot more to me than most things in this crazy thing we call life. I'm currently always on the look out for new low-key musicians. On a monthly basis I probably find about 8 new artists or bands. The genres of music I am most interested in are Indie, Rock, Alternative, Punk, Electric-Influenced Pop, Emo Punk Pop, and I dabble in Electric music. The main focuses I have with starting this blog is to be able to review the shows I go to, and help undiscovered artists become more visible and promote their fan base.

Favorites:
Main music inspiration- Zane Lowe
Record Labels - Rough Trade, Dirty Hit
Band - The 1975
